Any adult family member who would like to be involved in their student’s education and school activities is welcome to volunteer with Boosters.  All volunteers must have completed a background check with the district to be eligible to volunteer. Background checks require a valid Washington or Oregon ID or driver’s license.  This can be done through Tracey Ellis in the school’s office or by completing the background check here.

There are many ways to volunteer with the Boosters Club, from planning and staffing our events and fundraisers to volunteering your time in the school for our students and staff.

• Monthly Meetings: Join the Boosters Club and Mrs Morrill for monthly meetings where we discuss and plan activities, events, and the budget.

• Committees: There are a number of events and programs for volunteers to plan, coordinate, and staff.

• Sign Up: Look for sign ups sent out with information about events. Events and activities are only successful when we have enough volunteers.

• Join In: Attending events and Family Engagement Nights helps support our school community

• Planning: There are many ways to help in preparing for and executing fundraisers that do not require committing to a committee

• Work Room Tasks: Completing various tasks requested by school staff or the Boosters Club in the work room, we are happy to give a tour and answer any questions about working in the work room

• Teachers & Classrooms: Many families work with their student’s teacher to find ways to best support their classroom

• Donations: Sourcing donations for events is very much appreciated as are any direct donations to the Boosters Club

• Become an Officer: Becoming an officer with the Boosters Club is a great way to be involved in the many ways we support our students and school.

Completing the Parent Volunteer form and background check at the beginning of the year or adding your information to our volunteer list here helps the Boosters Committee to find the right opportunities for each volunteer. Volunteers are also welcomed to contact the Boosters Officers at any time throughout the year.
